Dynamic Assisted Stretching
Dynamic assisted stretching is a method of flexibility training that involves a Stretchologist (Talitha) to enhance the effectiveness of the stretch. This technique is often used to improve range of motion and prepare muscles for physical activity. Any level of stiffness can be relieved with assisted stretching.
During dynamic assisted stretching, you will relax on a massage table as the Stretchologist moves you through the poses - movements are performed in a controlled manner. A stretchologist may gently push, pull, or guide the stretch, allowing the individual to experience a deeper stretch without overexertion. This approach can help in safely targeting specific muscle groups while minimising the risk of injury and increases blood flow to targeted muscle groups. It is particularly beneficial for athletes and individuals engaging in high-intensity workouts, as it prepares and restores the body for physical exertion.
